- Events about interfaces with the nervous system, and broader meetings the BCI community demonstrably uses: its society meets there, or the subject is one of the meeting's standing themes. A general AI or medical-device event with one relevant talk is not listed.
- Where the facts come from
- Every date, place and deadline was read on the organiser's own page, linked from the entry. Nothing is taken from a listing site. The entries were last read on 8 Oct 2026.
- What is left out
- What an organiser has not published: a venue, a deadline, a programme. Who attends, exhibits or speaks is recorded only where the organiser's page says so, and is never inferred.
- Science and business
- Research conferences, clinical meetings, industry forums, investor gatherings, policy meetings and schools are on one timeline, because the people in this field go to more than one kind. Industry and investor meetings are listed up to November 2026; the forums that follow have not published their dates yet, so beyond that the calendar is, for now, mostly scientific and clinical.
