What it concerns
Devices included in a wireless neural interface system are disclosed. According to an embodiment, an internal device of a wireless neural interface system that performs communication through a human body channel may include: bio-electrodes including a first electrode, a second electrode, a third electrode, and a fourth electrode that are attached inside a human body; an oversampling converter configured to detect a biosignal on the basis of the first electrode and the second electrode, and output an oversampling signal by oversampling the biosignal; a wireless signal transmitter configured to encode the oversampling signal on the basis of a human body channel characteristic, and transmit the encoded oversampling signal to an external device, which is connected with the internal device through the human channel, through the third electrode; and a wireless power receiver configured to supply power to the oversampling converter and the wireless signal transmitter in response to a power signal received from the external device through the fourth electrode.

Why it matters
- Interface and electrodes
- Everything downstream works with what the contacts pick up. Their number, size and distance from the neurons set the ceiling on the signal. The problem behind it: more contacts, closer to neurons, that still record after years in tissue that reacts to them.
- Power
- A wire through the skin is a standing infection risk, and a battery sets how long a device runs and how large it is. The problem behind it: enough power through the skin without heating it, and without a connector that breaks the skin.
- Telemetry
- Thousands of channels produce more data than a low-power radio can carry raw, so what is sent, and how, decides what the system can use. The problem behind it: high data rates at low power through tissue, reliably and securely.
Why the layer matters to the field, not a judgement of this filing. A patent family shows that protection was sought. It does not show that the technology was built, is used in a product, or works in people. The whole stack

Dates as the offices published them. Office records are in the offices' own words and are a selection: refusals, lapses and withdrawals, and records that name an owner. Each concerns one member of the family, not the family as a whole, and another member in the same office may stand. Whether a patent is in force today is not assessed.
