What it concerns
The invention discloses a brain electrode device and a preparation method thereof. The brain electrode device comprises a signal processing structure and a brain electrode structure, the signal processing structure is connected with the brain electrode structure, the brain electrode structure is used for collecting brain electrical signals, and the signal processing structure comprises a circuit board and a flexible connection structure; the output end of the flexible connection structure is detachably connected with the circuit board, the input end of the flexible connection structure is electrically connected with the brain electrode structure, the circuit board forms at least one U-shaped structure, and the flexible connection structure is folded. According to the embodiment of the invention, in the signal processing structure of the brain electrode device, the space occupation of the signal processing structure in the brain electrode device can be reduced by forming the folded circuit board of at least one U-shaped structure and the folded flexible connection structure, so that the internal structure layout of the brain electrode device is compact, and the reliability of the brain electrode device is improved. The size of the device is reduced, and carrying inconvenience caused by overlarge size is avoided.

Why it matters
- Interface and electrodes
- Everything downstream works with what the contacts pick up. Their number, size and distance from the neurons set the ceiling on the signal. The problem behind it: more contacts, closer to neurons, that still record after years in tissue that reacts to them.
- Implant electronics
- An implant has room for very little, so functions that fill a rack in the laboratory have to fit on a chip. The problem behind it: fitting channel count, computing and safety functions into a volume and a heat budget the body accepts.
- Signal processing
- A decoder is only as good as the features it is given, and recordings drift and pick up noise from movement, muscle and stimulation. The problem behind it: stable features from signals that change from day to day, computed fast enough to act on.
Why the layer matters to the field, not a judgement of this filing. A patent family shows that protection was sought. It does not show that the technology was built, is used in a product, or works in people. The whole stack

Dates as the offices published them. Office records are in the offices' own words and are a selection: refusals, lapses and withdrawals, and records that name an owner. Each concerns one member of the family, not the family as a whole, and another member in the same office may stand. Whether a patent is in force today is not assessed.
